Think Purple
by
Kurt Fogle

The Blues believe they are "greater than."
They are terrified of being less than equal.
So to keep their "greater than" status, they need to make sure there is a "less than" group.
This "less than" group is Green.
The Greens are told that they are less than."
The Greens feel that where they sleep and eat is "less than."
They lose all respect for their homes and themselves.
This only makes them feel less than they were before.
Most of the world is Blue and about one-third of the world Green.
There is also a very small part of the world that is Purple.
The Purples are not "greater than" or "less than."
The Purples just "are."
The Purples refuse to let the Blues take them down.
They feel proud of themselves.
All can be Purple if they only try.
The Greens need to stop blaming the Blues for all their problems and need to gain their self respect back.
The Blues need to stop running scared.
They need to learn that there is enough for everyone.
And only then will the world be one beautiful place.
Think Purple!

Tragic Argument
A 25-year old Orem man riding in a car on
Interstate 15 Wednesday night was arguing with
the driver when he decided he had enough. The
passenger asked the driver to stop the car so he
could get out, but the driver said no. So the
passenger, whom police did not identify, jumped
out of the southbound car while it was moving at
least 65 mph near 14000 South in Bluffdale,
according to Utah Highway Patrol. The victim
rolled along the highway and was run over by a
station wagon, pickup truck, then a semi-tractor
trailer, killing him.
